La reuni\u00f3n reunir\u00e1 a casi 100 activistas, acad\u00e9micos y profesionales del 8 al 10 de junio de 50 pa\u00edses para compartir e intercambiar nuevos hallazgos, lecciones aprendidas y reflexiones desde el campo de la participaci\u00f3n de los hombres como padres y cuidadores en pos de la igualdad de g\u00e9nero.<\/p>\n<p><em>Estado de los padres del mundo: tiempo de actuar<\/em> Producido por <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equimundo.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Equimundo<\/a>, se basa en casi 100 estudios de investigaci\u00f3n e informes, con datos de casi todos los pa\u00edses donde est\u00e1 disponible. Este informe de 2017 llega dos a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s del informe inaugural <em><a href=\"http:\/\/sowf.men-care.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Estado de los padres del mundo<\/a> <\/em>2015, el primer informe del mundo que ofrece una visi\u00f3n global del estado de las contribuciones de los hombres a la crianza y el cuidado de los hijos.<\/p>\n<p>El 18 de junio, gran parte del mundo se re\u00fane para celebrar el papel de los padres, pero en ning\u00fan pa\u00eds del mundo la contribuci\u00f3n de los hombres al trabajo de cuidados no remunerado es igual a la de las mujeres. A nivel mundial, en promedio, el tiempo que las mujeres dedican diariamente al cuidado del hogar y de los hijos sigue siendo tres veces mayor que el que dedican los hombres; esta cifra var\u00eda seg\u00fan la regi\u00f3n desde aproximadamente 2,7 veces en Asia oriental y el Pac\u00edfico hasta 4,5 veces en Oriente Medio y el norte de \u00c1frica, y 6,5 veces en Asia meridional. Las mujeres realizan sistem\u00e1ticamente m\u00e1s trabajo no remunerado (incluido el cuidado de otras personas y el trabajo dom\u00e9stico) y m\u00e1s trabajo remunerado, en conjunto, que los hombres. Al ritmo actual de progreso mundial, se necesitar\u00e1n aproximadamente 75 a\u00f1os para que las mujeres y los hombres logren la igualdad de remuneraci\u00f3n por el mismo trabajo.
