Nuestra premisa metodol\u00f3gica: cuando los valores cambian, esto va acompa\u00f1ado de procesos de negociaci\u00f3n social que se hacen visibles en el discurso medi\u00e1tico. Por lo tanto, al analizar sistem\u00e1ticamente el discurso medi\u00e1tico popular, deber\u00edamos ser capaces de identificar signos de una negociaci\u00f3n p\u00fablica intensificada como expresi\u00f3n de normas y valores cambiantes. Suponemos que los cambios en los valores sociales se reflejan en el discurso medi\u00e1tico y que estos cambios en el discurso medi\u00e1tico sirven como evidencia cualitativa de que las normas sociales s\u00ed cambian. Bas\u00e1ndonos en esta premisa metodol\u00f3gica, MenCare Suiza realiz\u00f3 dos an\u00e1lisis del discurso medi\u00e1tico suizo: uno para 2010 y otro para 2020. La pregunta principal de inter\u00e9s: \u00bfhay un cambio cuantitativo y cualitativo en c\u00f3mo se discute el compromiso de los hombres con el cuidado en los medios populares suizos entre 2010 y 2020?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Los resultados muestran que en 2020 los medios de comunicaci\u00f3n suizos se interesaron mucho m\u00e1s por el tema de la participaci\u00f3n masculina en el cuidado de los dem\u00e1s. El volumen total de la cobertura medi\u00e1tica se duplic\u00f3 aproximadamente en comparaci\u00f3n con 2010. El crecimiento del volumen de la cobertura medi\u00e1tica fue especialmente fuerte en el \u00e1mbito de la paternidad (se multiplic\u00f3 por 2,5), mientras que se estanc\u00f3 en el \u00e1mbito del autocuidado. En el \u00e1mbito del discurso sobre el trabajo de cuidados, es notable que el t\u00e9rmino &quot;trabajo de cuidados&quot;, un t\u00e9rmino que hace diez a\u00f1os apenas se utilizaba en el discurso medi\u00e1tico, se haya establecido y se haya vuelto cada vez m\u00e1s com\u00fan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Desde un punto de vista cualitativo, llama la atenci\u00f3n que el cuidado se haya abordado cada vez m\u00e1s en el contexto de las desigualdades distributivas de g\u00e9nero (brecha de g\u00e9nero en el cuidado) y de la conciliaci\u00f3n de la vida profesional y privada. En general, en 2020 se habl\u00f3 mucho m\u00e1s de los cuidados en relaci\u00f3n con cuestiones de g\u00e9nero e igualdad que en 2010. El &quot;nuevo&quot; ideal de paternidad implicada hab\u00eda ganado terreno, mientras que un debate independiente, con un enfoque expl\u00edcito en la masculinidad y el cuidado, solo se detect\u00f3 parcialmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclusi\u00f3n: El tema del cuidado de los dem\u00e1s ha experimentado un aumento significativo en la atenci\u00f3n p\u00fablica en Suiza durante los \u00faltimos diez a\u00f1os. Si hace diez a\u00f1os casi ning\u00fan medio de comunicaci\u00f3n importante utilizaba el t\u00e9rmino \u201ccuidado de los dem\u00e1s\u201d, hoy en d\u00eda es omnipresente. El an\u00e1lisis comparativo proporciona evidencia de que las normas sociales en torno al cuidado de los dem\u00e1s por parte de los hombres est\u00e1n cambiando. Estos cambios no se producen de forma repentina y a menudo est\u00e1n vinculados a cuestiones de igualdad de g\u00e9nero y distribuci\u00f3n de la carga de trabajo.
