Las investigaciones confirman que los ni\u00f1os que ven a sus padres realizar tareas de cuidado tienen muchas m\u00e1s probabilidades de realizarlas ellos mismos, pero no ha habido un impulso global para que los ni\u00f1os realicen tareas de cuidado o ingresen en las profesiones relacionadas con el cuidado. De hecho, en la mayor\u00eda de los pa\u00edses, la participaci\u00f3n de los hombres en las profesiones relacionadas con el cuidado (enfermer\u00eda, cuidado de ancianos, cuidado de ni\u00f1os, ense\u00f1anza primaria y otras) apenas ha cambiado. La mayor\u00eda de las personas ni siquiera han o\u00eddo hablar de las profesiones HEAL (salud, educaci\u00f3n, administraci\u00f3n y alfabetizaci\u00f3n).<\/p>\n<p>En pocas palabras, debemos ense\u00f1ar, obligar, incentivar y apoyar a los ni\u00f1os para que consideren que el cuidado es algo normal y necesario, lo valoren y lo presten junto con sus hermanas y compa\u00f1eras. Para que esto suceda, tambi\u00e9n debemos reconocer que las normas de g\u00e9nero en torno al cuidado comienzan muy temprano.
