De acordo com pesquisa conduzida pelo UNFPA em 2014, 77% das mulheres e homens bielorrussos com idades entre 18 e 60 anos sofreram alguma forma de viol\u00eancia dom\u00e9stica. Al\u00e9m disso, uma em cada tr\u00eas mulheres \u00e9 submetida a abuso f\u00edsico, e uma em cada cinco sofre viol\u00eancia sexual na fam\u00edlia. Com rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s pr\u00e1ticas de cria\u00e7\u00e3o dos filhos, apenas um ter\u00e7o das crian\u00e7as na Bielorr\u00fassia s\u00e3o criadas sem o uso de viol\u00eancia.<\/p>\n<p>O desenvolvimento de uma lei sobre viol\u00eancia dom\u00e9stica \u00e9 um passo importante tanto em n\u00edvel estadual quanto internacional. Leis semelhantes j\u00e1 est\u00e3o em vigor na Ucr\u00e2nia, Cazaquist\u00e3o, Mold\u00e1via, Litu\u00e2nia, \u00c1ustria, Gr\u00e3-Bretanha, Espanha e muitos outros pa\u00edses.
