A comunidade de Tafelsig est\u00e1 localizada no sub\u00farbio mais amplo de Mitchells Plain, que frequentemente \u00e9 destaque em not\u00edcias locais e nacionais por viol\u00eancia de gangues, uso e tr\u00e1fico de drogas, altos n\u00edveis de desemprego e pais ausentes.<\/p>\n<p>Mosaico, como parte do <a href=\"\/pt\/what-we-do\/programming\/mencareplus\/\">Programa MenCare+<\/a>, trabalha para engajar os homens a se tornarem pais mais envolvidos. A ideia do evento surgiu da necessidade \u2013 expressa pelos pais \u2013 de ter um espa\u00e7o onde pudessem explorar atividades nas quais pudessem se envolver mais ativamente com seus filhos.<\/p>\n<p>Vinte pais e seus filhos compareceram ao evento. V\u00e1rias esta\u00e7\u00f5es de atividades foram montadas para incentivar brincadeiras interativas, juntamente com esta\u00e7\u00f5es educacionais para pais. As esta\u00e7\u00f5es inclu\u00edam colorir, cr\u00edquete indoor, jogos educacionais, um canto de leitura e troca de fraldas, juntamente com um estande educacional para pais sobre planejamento familiar e sa\u00fade sexual e reprodutiva.<\/p>\n<p>Os participantes do Dia do Pai e da Crian\u00e7a expressaram o desejo de tornar o evento uma ocorr\u00eancia regular. Eles sentiram que o espa\u00e7o era seguro, que ajudava a facilitar a intera\u00e7\u00e3o dos homens com seus filhos e que fornecia uma oportunidade para os pais se encontrarem, compartilharem experi\u00eancias e apoiarem uns aos outros.<\/p>\n<p>A Mosaic trabalha em estreita colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com organiza\u00e7\u00f5es parceiras na comunidade, e elas recentemente estabeleceram uma Network of Care. A rede re\u00fane organiza\u00e7\u00f5es prestadoras de servi\u00e7os em Tafelsig para compartilhar conhecimento, habilidades e recursos e para garantir que os servi\u00e7os sejam entregues de forma mais eficaz.
