Elas expandem a licen\u00e7a parental remunerada para incluir pais do mesmo sexo, adotivos e\/ou homens.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSe os homens estiverem mais envolvidos na cria\u00e7\u00e3o dos filhos, as mulheres podem passar mais tempo em empregos econ\u00f4micos. Esta emenda, portanto, fornece uma oportunidade valiosa para as mulheres recuperarem o acesso ao local de trabalho\u201d, disse Andre Lewaks, gerente da MenCare South Africa na Sonke Gender Justice.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA inclus\u00e3o legislativa da licen\u00e7a parental para todos os pais aumentar\u00e1 o cuidado dispon\u00edvel para as crian\u00e7as e contribuir\u00e1 para a divis\u00e3o equitativa do trabalho de cuidado n\u00e3o remunerado, transformando a atual natureza de g\u00eanero desse trabalho. Esta emenda e as melhorias propostas tamb\u00e9m contribuir\u00e3o para a igualdade de g\u00eanero no local de trabalho\u201d, disse Kerryn Rehse, Coordenadora de Advocacia Pol\u00edtica na Mosaic.<\/p>\n<h3>As quatro melhorias sugeridas por Sonke e Mosaic s\u00e3o:<\/h3>\n<p>1. Pais do mesmo sexo n\u00e3o t\u00eam legisla\u00e7\u00e3o espec\u00edfica que preveja licen\u00e7a remunerada para dois pais ou duas m\u00e3es. Portanto, o casamento entre pessoas do mesmo sexo \u00e9 previsto na legisla\u00e7\u00e3o sul-africana, mas a parentalidade entre pessoas do mesmo sexo n\u00e3o. Sonke e Mosaic sugerem uma aloca\u00e7\u00e3o n\u00e3o espec\u00edfica de g\u00eanero de licen\u00e7a remunerada para \u201cpais\u201d e \u201ccuidadores\u201d em oposi\u00e7\u00e3o a \u201cm\u00e3es\u201d ou \u201cpais\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>2. A licen\u00e7a-maternidade est\u00e1 atualmente dispon\u00edvel por at\u00e9 quatro meses. Sonke e Mosaic sugerem que a quantidade m\u00ednima de licen\u00e7a disponibilizada para cuidadores prim\u00e1rios seja aumentada para seis meses, para permitir o per\u00edodo m\u00ednimo recomendado pela Organiza\u00e7\u00e3o Mundial da Sa\u00fade de amamenta\u00e7\u00e3o exclusiva.<\/p>\n<p>3. Pais adotivos n\u00e3o t\u00eam acesso \u00e0 licen\u00e7a parental remunerada. Sonke e Mosaic sugerem que pais adotivos devem ter acesso \u00e0 licen\u00e7a parental remunerada desde o momento da coloca\u00e7\u00e3o da crian\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>4. As m\u00e3es que d\u00e3o \u00e0 luz atualmente n\u00e3o t\u00eam disposi\u00e7\u00f5es que permitam que seus parceiros as apoiem durante o parto e a recupera\u00e7\u00e3o. O per\u00edodo m\u00ednimo para recupera\u00e7\u00e3o de uma ces\u00e1rea \u00e9 de 10 dias. Sonke e Mosaic sugerem um m\u00ednimo de 10 dias de licen\u00e7a perinatal para todos os novos pais.
