Em 13 de junho de 2018, a MenEngage Uganda Network e a Sonke Gender Justice, em colabora\u00e7\u00e3o com a Embaixada da Su\u00e9cia em Kampala, organizaram um evento com a edi\u00e7\u00e3o de 2017\u00a0Situa\u00e7\u00e3o da Paternidade no Mundo: Hora de Agir<\/em><\/a>\u00a0relat\u00f3rio, produzido pela Equimundo como uma publica\u00e7\u00e3o MenCare. Sonke Gender Justice e Equimundo atuam como co-coordenadores da campanha global MenCare. relat\u00f3rio<\/a> estuda o papel dos pais no cuidado, trabalho dom\u00e9stico e desenvolvimento infantil e investiga os desafios para alcan\u00e7ar uma divis\u00e3o equitativa do trabalho de cuidado entre homens e mulheres ao redor do mundo. O evento fomentou discuss\u00f5es sobre os esfor\u00e7os necess\u00e1rios das partes interessadas para melhorar o engajamento dos pais no cuidado.<\/p>\n

O lan\u00e7amento do relat\u00f3rio foi seguido de uma cerim\u00f4nia de premia\u00e7\u00e3o do concurso de fotografia de 2018\u00a0\u201c<\/strong>Eu e meu pai,<\/a>"<\/strong>\u00a0hospedado pela Embaixada da Su\u00e9cia em Kampala. A competi\u00e7\u00e3o destacou os pais ugandenses como modelos positivos e importantes contribuidores na forma\u00e7\u00e3o da vida das crian\u00e7as. As crian\u00e7as foram solicitadas a enviar uma foto delas fazendo uma atividade favorita com o pai, junto com uma sinopse respondendo o que significa um bom pai.
