Veja a grava\u00e7\u00e3o completa <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=jaeCYAqyMOk&amp;feature=youtu.be\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aqui<\/a>, com apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es adicionais de Suna Han\u00f6z-Penney da A\u00c7EV (Turquia) e Ilze Smit da Rutgers (Holanda).<\/em><\/p>\n<p>A \u00c1frica do Sul aguarda ansiosamente a assinatura do seu novo <a href=\"https:\/\/pmg.org.za\/bill\/615\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Projeto de Lei de Emenda \u00e0 Lei Trabalhista<\/a>, que proporcionar\u00e1 um aumento nos benef\u00edcios de licen\u00e7a remunerada para todos os novos pais. O projeto de lei <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/pt\/2017\/12\/13\/sonke-welcomes-passing-labour-laws-amendment-bill-landmark-achievement-parents-south-africa\/\">foi passado<\/a> pela Assembleia Nacional do pa\u00eds em 2017; espera-se que seja aprovado pelo Conselho Nacional das Prov\u00edncias e assinado pelo Presidente Cyril Ramaphosa este ano.<\/p>\n<p>Antes dessa emenda, a lei fornecia quatro meses de licen\u00e7a-maternidade para novas m\u00e3es, pagas em uma escala m\u00f3vel de at\u00e9 54% do sal\u00e1rio da m\u00e3e. A lei n\u00e3o fornecia licen\u00e7a para pais ou quaisquer outros pais, deixando muitos tirarem seus tr\u00eas dias de licen\u00e7a de \u201cresponsabilidade familiar\u201d ap\u00f3s o nascimento ou ado\u00e7\u00e3o de uma crian\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>A nova emenda \u00e9 muito mais abrangente. Ela aumenta os benef\u00edcios da licen\u00e7a-maternidade para 66% do sal\u00e1rio de uma mulher e fornece dez dias de licen\u00e7a parental para aquelas que n\u00e3o se qualificam para a licen\u00e7a-maternidade. A emenda tamb\u00e9m oferece dez semanas de licen\u00e7a parental para pais adotivos e pais que encomendam barriga de aluguel. \u00c9 importante notar que a linguagem da emenda \u00e9 neutra em termos de g\u00eanero \u2013 permitindo todas as identidades de g\u00eanero e orienta\u00e7\u00f5es sexuais.<\/p>\n<p>Parceiro e coordenador global da MenCare, <a href=\"http:\/\/genderjustice.org.za\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Justi\u00e7a de g\u00eanero Sonke<\/a>, junto com seus parceiros na \u00c1frica do Sul, liderou esfor\u00e7os de advocacy que resultaram nessa vit\u00f3ria monumental para a igualdade de g\u00eanero e o cuidado compartilhado. Veja como eles fizeram isso:<\/p>\n<p>Como base de sua campanha de advocacy, a Sonke fez parceria com uma rede de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es locais de direitos das mulheres. \u201cNosso principal argumento era que o tempo dos pais para cuidar \u00e9 um benef\u00edcio para as m\u00e3es e crian\u00e7as, assim como para os pais\u201d, disse Wessel. Com a ajuda de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es como <a href=\"http:\/\/mosaic.org.za\/main\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Mosaico<\/a>, outra parceira da MenCare, a Sonke conseguiu atingir sua meta de aumentar a licen\u00e7a remunerada para todos os pais na \u00c1frica do Sul.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2014, Sonke come\u00e7ou a capitalizar a m\u00eddia \u2013 incluindo r\u00e1dio, jornais e televis\u00e3o \u2013 como uma ferramenta de advocacy. A equipe escreveu artigos de opini\u00e3o em jornais por todo o pa\u00eds e come\u00e7ou a gerar interesse p\u00fablico em torno do t\u00f3pico.<\/p>\n<p>Wessel enfatizou o qu\u00e3o importante \u00e9 se antecipar \u00e0 hist\u00f3ria, em vez de ser reativo. \u201cAo sermos proativos, somos capazes de propor e gerar as narrativas que queremos ver por a\u00ed\u201d, disse ele. Sonke tamb\u00e9m forneceu roteiros para esta\u00e7\u00f5es de not\u00edcias para que elas os usassem como guias quando produzissem segmentos sobre paternidade ou licen\u00e7a parental. Isso ajudou a educar emissoras e escritores sobre como enquadrar e falar construtivamente sobre tais quest\u00f5es na m\u00eddia.<\/p>\n<p>Outra estrat\u00e9gia bem-sucedida foi amplificar as vozes dos sul-africanos que j\u00e1 estavam defendendo a licen\u00e7a-paternidade. Em 2014, Sonke colaborou com <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/pt\/2014\/07\/24\/sonke-gender-justice-supports-petition-for-10-days-paternity-leave-in-south-africa\/\">Hendri Terblanche<\/a>, um pai que solicitou ao parlamento dez dias de licen\u00e7a-paternidade depois que seus filhos g\u00eameos nasceram tr\u00eas meses prematuros. Hendri experimentou em primeira m\u00e3o como ter apenas tr\u00eas dias de licen\u00e7a de responsabilidade familiar (e nenhuma licen\u00e7a-paternidade) restringe severamente os pais de formar um v\u00ednculo com seus rec\u00e9m-nascidos e de apoiar suas parceiras neste momento cr\u00edtico. Seus g\u00eameos Dant\u00e9 e Juandr\u00e9 ficaram hospitalizados por 139 dias e 79 dias, respectivamente.<\/p>\n<p>Em 2016, Sonke e Mosaic tiveram a oportunidade de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/pt\/2016\/09\/22\/mencare-partners-sonke-gender-justice-and-mosaic-suggest-improvements-to-south-africas-labour-laws-amendment-bill\/\">propor um projeto de lei<\/a> perante o parlamento. Eles prepararam um pacote de submiss\u00e3o para os parlamentares usando o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/pt\/resources\/the-mencare-parental-leave-platform\/\">Plataforma de licen\u00e7a parental MenCare<\/a>, incluindo um DVD, fichas informativas e a proposta formal.
