\u201cHabilidades para a vida\u201d s\u00e3o definidas como aquelas habilidades necess\u00e1rias para que um indiv\u00edduo funcione efetivamente na sociedade de forma ativa e construtiva. No entanto, a educa\u00e7\u00e3o formal frequentemente deixa a Educa\u00e7\u00e3o em Habilidades para a Vida fora de cena; esses sistemas priorizam o conhecimento de outras disciplinas e acreditam que um aumento no conhecimento 'formal' sozinho levar\u00e1 a mudan\u00e7as positivas em atitudes e comportamentos. Para aprender mais sobre o valor da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o em Habilidades para a Vida, um projeto de pesquisa conduzido nos Balc\u00e3s Ocidentais reuniu a opini\u00e3o p\u00fablica sobre a inclus\u00e3o de habilidades para a vida como disciplina nas escolas de ensino m\u00e9dio.<\/p>\n

\"\"Em 30 de junho de 2020, o Be a Man Club em Kosovo apresentou esta pesquisa no centro de Pristina na Pra\u00e7a \u201cSkenderbeu\u201d. Cidad\u00e3os de todas as idades pararam enquanto o Be a Man Club e seus membros apresentavam os resultados da pesquisa, usando uma atividade chamada \u201cPolling Research Street Action\u201d. De 400 estudantes do ensino m\u00e9dio, 99% classificaram a preven\u00e7\u00e3o de drogas e o abuso de \u00e1lcool como o t\u00f3pico mais importante da Educa\u00e7\u00e3o em Habilidades para a Vida, enquanto de 700 entrevistados, 90% classificaram a igualdade de g\u00eanero como o t\u00f3pico mais importante. Estes s\u00e3o apenas alguns dos resultados do estudo que os cidad\u00e3os testemunharam ao passarem pela Pra\u00e7a \u201cSkenderbeu\u201d em Pristina. Esses resultados importantes imediatamente chamaram a aten\u00e7\u00e3o do p\u00fablico, fazendo com que alguns se aproximassem e pedissem mais informa\u00e7\u00f5es.<\/p>\n

Os dados desta pesquisa foram coletados de maio a junho de 2019 com um total de 2.500 jovens, pais, professores, profissionais, representantes de ONGs, representantes da m\u00eddia e empregadores. O question\u00e1rio perguntou aos entrevistados sobre sua opini\u00e3o sobre educa\u00e7\u00e3o para habilidades de vida, se esse tipo de educa\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio para os jovens e se deveria se tornar uma parte obrigat\u00f3ria da educa\u00e7\u00e3o formal nas escolas.<\/p>\n

Esta atividade foi realizada dentro do projeto \u201cHomens e meninos como parceiros na promo\u00e7\u00e3o da igualdade de g\u00eanero e na preven\u00e7\u00e3o do extremismo e da viol\u00eancia juvenil nos Balc\u00e3s\u201d, implementado pela CARE International Balkans em parceria com o SIT \u2013 Center for Counseling, Social Services and Research e YMCA em Kosovo e apoiado pela Austrian Development Agency e Oak Foundation. Esta atividade ser\u00e1 realizada em coopera\u00e7\u00e3o com a Youth for Exchange and Understanding International tamb\u00e9m.<\/p>\n
