Na It\u00e1lia, como em outros lugares, dar \u00e0 luz durante a COVID-19 tem sido um evento solit\u00e1rio e estressante para muitas mulheres, com os pais\/parceiros geralmente sendo mantidos afastados<\/em>. \u00c0 medida que a pandemia evoluiu, novas evid\u00eancias cient\u00edficas e protocolos operacionais tornaram-se dispon\u00edveis em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 gravidez, parto e amamenta\u00e7\u00e3o. No entanto, o que recebeu pouca aten\u00e7\u00e3o foram os protocolos em torno da presen\u00e7a do pai, ou de quem a m\u00e3e deseja ter ao seu lado, durante o parto. Parecia que n\u00e3o era considerado uma necessidade cient\u00edfica e baseada em evid\u00eancias nos protocolos locais de sa\u00fade da COVID-19 permitir a inclus\u00e3o do pai\/parceiro, ou de uma "pessoa que acompanha a m\u00e3e", durante o parto - mesmo que para apoiar a m\u00e3e e facilitar o v\u00ednculo precoce entre pai e filho. Era percebido como uma op\u00e7\u00e3o ou um "luxo" que poderia ser facilmente abandonado em uma situa\u00e7\u00e3o dif\u00edcil ou incerta.<\/p>\n

Apesar dessa percep\u00e7\u00e3o, alguns hospitais e profissionais de sa\u00fade fizeram esfor\u00e7os corajosos para adaptar protocolos \u2013 mantendo a seguran\u00e7a \u2013 a fim de proteger e promover o relacionamento m\u00e3e\/pai\/filho, mesmo durante a pandemia. Isso inclu\u00eda medidas \u00f3bvias, embora lamentavelmente n\u00e3o generalizadas, como alternar a presen\u00e7a dos pais durante a interna\u00e7\u00e3o hospitalar, permitindo que todos os parceiros de m\u00e3es que compartilham um quarto passem um tempo seguro com a m\u00e3e e seu filho durante o dia; altern\u00e2ncia 50\/50 da presen\u00e7a da m\u00e3e e do pai\/parceiro em Unidades de Terapia Intensiva Neonatal; e, muito simplesmente, usar EPI (equipamento de prote\u00e7\u00e3o individual) para os pais durante o parto.<\/p>\n

Parceiros MenCare na It\u00e1lia \u2013 a rede il Jardim dos Padres<\/a> liderado por Cerchio degli Uomini<\/a> de Torino \u2013 reuniu essas experi\u00eancias de melhores pr\u00e1ticas em um confer\u00eancia webinar<\/a> organizado \u2013 juntamente com o prestigiado Instituto Italiano de Sa\u00fade<\/a> (ISS) \u2013 no contexto da Projeto UE PAI<\/a> (Portugal, It\u00e1lia, \u00c1ustria, Litu\u00e2nia). A confer\u00eancia contou com a presen\u00e7a de tr\u00eas horas completas de trezentos profissionais de sa\u00fade de toda a It\u00e1lia (ginecologistas, parteiras, pediatras, neonatologistas, enfermeiros pedi\u00e1tricos, visitantes de sa\u00fade), al\u00e9m de parceiros colaboradores como a UNICEF, com palestrantes apresentando n\u00e3o apenas sua experi\u00eancia, mas tamb\u00e9m as evid\u00eancias e dados cient\u00edficos mais atualizados. O objetivo era disseminar e tirar li\u00e7\u00f5es dessas melhores pr\u00e1ticas para que um novo surto ou uma nova pandemia n\u00e3o pegasse os servi\u00e7os de sa\u00fade desprevenidos. O feedback dos participantes, que interagiram durante todo o Q&A, foi entusiasmado. Como disse um participante da Sic\u00edlia, \u201cMuito obrigado por nos mostrar que isso pode ser feito \u2013 mesmo durante uma pandemia!\u201d\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n
