Seg\u00fan una investigaci\u00f3n realizada por el UNFPA en 2014, el 77 por ciento de las mujeres y los hombres bielorrusos de entre 18 y 60 a\u00f1os han sufrido alguna forma de violencia dom\u00e9stica. Adem\u00e1s, una de cada tres mujeres sufre abusos f\u00edsicos y una de cada cinco sufre violencia sexual en su familia. En lo que respecta a las pr\u00e1cticas de crianza de los hijos, solo un tercio de los ni\u00f1os en Belar\u00fas se cr\u00edan sin el uso de la violencia.<\/p>\n<p>La elaboraci\u00f3n de una ley sobre la violencia dom\u00e9stica es un paso importante tanto a nivel estatal como internacional. Ya existen leyes similares en Ucrania, Kazajst\u00e1n, Moldavia, Lituania, Austria, Gran Breta\u00f1a, Espa\u00f1a y muchos otros pa\u00edses.
