En julio, MenCare Sri Lanka<\/a> Capacit\u00f3 a 30 l\u00edderes religiosos y comunitarios sobre c\u00f3mo promover la paternidad comprometida y no violenta y la crianza con equidad de g\u00e9nero en su trabajo. Entre los participantes del programa de \u201cCapacitaci\u00f3n de capacitadores\u201d de MenCare se encontraban pastores cristianos, maestros religiosos hind\u00faes, ex facilitadores de MenCare y voluntarios comunitarios del Programa de Desarrollo del \u00c1rea de Ambagamuwa (ADP), junto con una docena de miembros del ADP de Vaharai.<\/p>\n

El programa de \u201cFormaci\u00f3n de Formadores\u201d ten\u00eda como objetivo educar a los l\u00edderes religiosos y comunitarios del sector de las plantaciones de Sri Lanka sobre los beneficios que la participaci\u00f3n positiva de los padres en sus familias puede tener para las mujeres, los ni\u00f1os y los propios hombres. El programa buscaba dotar a los participantes de las habilidades y los conocimientos necesarios para alentar la participaci\u00f3n de los hombres como cuidadores en sus propias comunidades religiosas y locales.<\/p>\n

Los participantes del programa de \u201cFormaci\u00f3n de Formadores\u201d mejoraron sus habilidades de facilitaci\u00f3n a trav\u00e9s de una variedad de sesiones participativas durante el taller de dos d\u00edas. Los l\u00edderes religiosos y comunitarios trabajaron juntos en conceptos y t\u00e9cnicas relacionados con la lluvia de ideas, la comunicaci\u00f3n grupal, la representaci\u00f3n de roles, la reflexi\u00f3n y el an\u00e1lisis cr\u00edticos, la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas y la toma de decisiones.<\/p>\n
