El informe Programa SePARE del Municipio de Vega Baja<\/a>, un socio de MenCare en Puerto Rico, se est\u00e1 preparando para comenzar una nueva ronda de grupos de padres en marzo de 2016. Los grupos, conocidos como Encuentros: Hombres-Padres<\/em> (o \u201cEncuentros de hombres y padres\u201d), se reunir\u00e1n dos veces al mes para debatir y compartir historias sobre la paternidad, la crianza de los hijos y el cuidado de los ni\u00f1os. Las reuniones son gratuitas y est\u00e1n abiertas a todos los hombres que son, o planean convertirse en padres, o que est\u00e1n involucrados de alguna manera en la crianza de los hijos.<\/p>\n

En marzo, SePARE tambi\u00e9n lanzar\u00e1 una nueva iniciativa: la realizaci\u00f3n de encuentros para hombres que han ejercido violencia de pareja. El psic\u00f3logo social y experto en la materia, el doctor Juan Gonz\u00e1lez, moderar\u00e1 los encuentros, que se realizan dos veces al mes. El objetivo principal de la iniciativa es eliminar el uso de la violencia y las conductas abusivas en los hombres, brind\u00e1ndoles estrategias y herramientas para identificar los detonantes y aprender a afrontar situaciones estresantes sin recurrir a la violencia.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
