Si bien esta cantidad aumentar\u00e1 a cinco d\u00edas en 2019, el pa\u00eds a\u00fan est\u00e1 muy lejos de la media europea de ocho semanas de licencia remunerada para los nuevos padres.<\/p>\n<p>La concesi\u00f3n de licencias de duraci\u00f3n diferente para las nuevas madres y los nuevos padres perpet\u00faa la noci\u00f3n inequitativa de que las mujeres deben ser las cuidadoras que se quedan en casa y los hombres deben ser los sustentadores de la familia que trabajan fuera del hogar. De hecho, cada vez m\u00e1s personas en los Pa\u00edses Bajos consideran que este sistema es problem\u00e1tico:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>75% de j\u00f3venes menores de 35 a\u00f1os en los Pa\u00edses Bajos quieren aumentar la baja por paternidad remunerada.<\/li>\n<li>60% de los padres holandeses dicen que quieren pasar m\u00e1s tiempo con sus hijos, pero que no pueden hacerlo debido a limitaciones pr\u00e1cticas y financieras.<\/li>\n<li>Las mujeres holandesas dedican el doble de tiempo al trabajo de cuidado no remunerado que los hombres, y esta cifra no ha cambiado en los \u00faltimos 15 a\u00f1os.<\/li>\n<li>El 40% de las mujeres en los Pa\u00edses Bajos se enfrentan a discriminaci\u00f3n en el mercado laboral cuando est\u00e1n embarazadas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Por tanto, es hora de adoptar pol\u00edticas de licencias igualitarias para madres y padres, bien remuneradas, intransferibles y de duraci\u00f3n adecuada, que beneficien a los ni\u00f1os, las mujeres, los hombres y la sociedad en su conjunto. Por este motivo, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rutgers.international\/\" target=\"_blank\">Universidad Rutgers<\/a> tradujo y adapt\u00f3 los 10 puntos de MenCare <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/es\/resources\/the-mencare-parental-leave-platform\/\">Plataforma de licencia parental<\/a> para los Pa\u00edses Bajos, agregando datos y evidencia holandeses para defender pol\u00edticas nacionales de licencia que promuevan la igualdad de g\u00e9nero y brinden a los ni\u00f1os la atenci\u00f3n que necesitan.<\/p>\n<p>El informe <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/es\/resources\/mencare-parental-leave-platform-netherlands\/\">Plataforma de los Pa\u00edses Bajos<\/a> Se utilizar\u00e1 en las iniciativas de promoci\u00f3n durante el per\u00edodo previo a las elecciones parlamentarias holandesas de marzo de 2017, donde la licencia por paternidad ser\u00e1 un tema importante en la agenda de campa\u00f1a.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>En los Pa\u00edses Bajos, los padres tienen derecho a solo dos d\u00edas de licencia por paternidad remunerada.
