El 1 de diciembre de 2016, los socios de la asociaci\u00f3n nacional b\u00falgara Campa\u00f1a \u201cSer Pap\u00e1\u201d<\/a>, incluido Asociaci\u00f3n Roditeli<\/a>, organiz\u00f3 el Conferencia \u201cSer Pap\u00e1\u201d<\/a> En Sof\u00eda, Bulgaria, con m\u00e1s de 90 participantes. El objetivo de la conferencia era compartir experiencias de socios de todo el pa\u00eds y formular recomendaciones para jardines de infancia, escuelas y organizaciones b\u00falgaras que quieran involucrarse en la participaci\u00f3n de los hombres en la paternidad y el cuidado de los ni\u00f1os.<\/p>\n

Para dar inicio a la conferencia, representantes del Ministerio de Educaci\u00f3n de Bulgaria, UNICEF Bulgaria y la Fundaci\u00f3n Oak dieron la bienvenida y se dirigieron a los participantes de la conferencia. La jornada se estructur\u00f3 en dos paneles: \u201cLos pap\u00e1s en la escuela y el jard\u00edn de infantes\u201d y \u201cLos padres y los hombres en el trabajo social\u201d. John Crownover de CARE International Balkans, orador especial de la conferencia, realiz\u00f3 una presentaci\u00f3n magistral sobre c\u00f3mo y por qu\u00e9 invitar a los padres a involucrarse en la educaci\u00f3n de sus hijos, bas\u00e1ndose en las mejores pr\u00e1cticas mundiales.<\/p>\n

Los organizadores de la conferencia se mostraron satisfechos con el esp\u00edritu de comunidad y colaboraci\u00f3n de los participantes, su intercambio de experiencias y su deseo de promover el trabajo nacional para involucrar a los hombres como padres y cuidadores equitativos y no violentos.<\/p>\n

Conclusiones de la conferencia y lecciones aprendidas:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Las experiencias compartidas durante la conferencia dejaron en claro que invitar a los padres a la escuela es una estrategia exitosa<\/a> para involucrarlos en el cuidado. Cuando las escuelas piden de manera proactiva a los padres que participen en eventos, los padres responden con entusiasmo. Despu\u00e9s de participar, muchos padres preguntan a los maestros cu\u00e1ndo ser\u00e1 el pr\u00f3ximo evento escolar, recopilan ideas para eventos futuros e incluso comienzan a organizar eventos ellos mismos.<\/p>\n

\u201cHemos empezado algo y ahora no podemos parar\u201d, dijo un profesor que asisti\u00f3 a la conferencia. \u201cLos padres me preguntan todo el tiempo cu\u00e1ndo vamos a invitar de nuevo a los pap\u00e1s a la escuela\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cSomos parte de la campa\u00f1a MenCare porque tiene un prop\u00f3sito y un sentido claros\u201d, dijo Petya Rusinova, una de las asistentes a la conferencia y directora de la escuela primaria Nikola Vaptsarov en el pueblo de Selanovtsi. \u201cEs para el bien de los ni\u00f1os, los padres y la escuela\u201d.<\/p>\n

Los trabajadores sociales tambi\u00e9n est\u00e1n empezando a reconocer el potencial de los hombres como socios en la atenci\u00f3n y como individuos que necesitan participar en el trabajo social.
