{"id":5839,"date":"2017-09-27T16:18:31","date_gmt":"2017-09-27T20:18:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/?p=5839"},"modified":"2017-10-23T13:50:58","modified_gmt":"2017-10-23T17:50:58","slug":"unesco-webinar-highlight-shared-responsibility-parenting-latin-america","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/es\/unesco-webinar-highlight-shared-responsibility-parenting-latin-america\/","title":{"rendered":"Webinar de la UNESCO destaca la responsabilidad compartida en la crianza de los hijos en Am\u00e9rica Latina"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El 2 de octubre de 2017, IIPE UNESCO Buenos Aires organiz\u00f3 una <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/Zjwap_-NR-U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Seminario web en espa\u00f1ol<\/a> sobre \u201cResponsabilidad compartida en la crianza de los hijos: iniciativas de pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas en Am\u00e9rica Latina\u201d (\u201c<em>Corresponsabilidad parental en la crianza: Iniciativas de pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica en Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/em>\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>El seminario web cont\u00f3 con la participaci\u00f3n del socio de MenCare, Francisco Aguayo, director de la Fundaci\u00f3n CulturaSalud\/EME en Chile, coordinador de MenCare Am\u00e9rica Latina y coautor de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/es\/resources\/estado-de-la-america-latina-y-el-caribe\/\"><em>Estado mundial de los padres: Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe<\/em><\/a>; y N\u00e9stor L\u00f3pez, quien es el coordinador del Sistema de Informaci\u00f3n sobre Primera Infancia en Am\u00e9rica Latina (<em>Sistema de Informaci\u00f3n sobre Primera Infancia en Am\u00e9rica Latina<\/em>, SIPI). Francisco y N\u00e9stor discutieron la corresponsabilidad de los hombres en la crianza y reflexionaron sobre iniciativas que posicionan el cuidado de los hombres como un tema clave de pol\u00edtica p\u00fablica en Am\u00e9rica Latina.<\/p>\n<p>La participaci\u00f3n de los hombres en la prestaci\u00f3n de cuidados con equidad de g\u00e9nero y en la promoci\u00f3n del desarrollo infantil puede tener un impacto positivo en la vida de las mujeres, los ni\u00f1os y los propios hombres. Si bien los pa\u00edses latinoamericanos han logrado avances notables hacia una distribuci\u00f3n m\u00e1s equitativa de los cuidados, siguen existiendo importantes barreras normativas que impiden la plena participaci\u00f3n de los hombres en el desarrollo de la primera infancia.<\/p>\n<p>Francisco y N\u00e9stor se\u00f1alaron algunas de las principales lagunas en la investigaci\u00f3n sobre el cuidado masculino que plantean desaf\u00edos para establecer pol\u00edticas p\u00fablicas de apoyo en toda la regi\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExisten varios estudios sobre paternidad y cuidados en diferentes contextos en Am\u00e9rica Latina, incluso con poblaciones ind\u00edgenas y rurales; sin embargo, la mayor\u00eda de estos estudios se centran en poblaciones urbanas de clase media\u201d, dijo Francisco. Para lograr que los hombres participen con \u00e9xito en la prestaci\u00f3n de cuidados con equidad de g\u00e9nero en toda la regi\u00f3n, la investigaci\u00f3n y las pol\u00edticas deben incluir a los padres de diversos or\u00edgenes socioecon\u00f3micos y culturales, continu\u00f3.<\/p>\n<p>Este webinar brind\u00f3 un espacio de discusi\u00f3n e interacci\u00f3n en torno a los diferentes factores que inciden en el desarrollo infantil temprano y la participaci\u00f3n de los hombres en el cuidado en Am\u00e9rica Latina.
