El Centro Cultural La Moneda en Santiago de Chile presenta la Pap\u00e1s chilenos<\/em> (\u201cPap\u00e1s chilenos<\/em><\/a>\u201d, en espa\u00f1ol) del 4 de octubre al 26 de noviembre de 2017, destacando momentos \u00edntimos de padres chilenos cuidando a sus hijos. Las 27 fotos que aparecen en la exposici\u00f3n fueron seleccionadas entre m\u00e1s de 400 inscripciones, enviadas por padres y familiares como parte del concurso de fotograf\u00eda #Pap\u00e1sChilenos.<\/p>\n

El informe Pap\u00e1s chilenos<\/em> La exposici\u00f3n est\u00e1 modelada y se presenta junto con Pap\u00e1s suecos<\/em><\/a> \u2013 una serie fotogr\u00e1fica de Johan B\u00e4vman que documenta las vidas de los padres en Suecia que decidieron aprovechar la pol\u00edtica nacional de licencia parental y quedarse en casa con sus hijos durante al menos seis meses.<\/p>\n

Las fotograf\u00edas ganadoras aparecen en Pap\u00e1s chilenos<\/em> La exposici\u00f3n muestra escenas diversas de hombres que participan activamente en el cuidado y la crianza de sus hijos y que ejemplifican formas de paternidad afectuosas y comprometidas. La exposici\u00f3n llama la atenci\u00f3n del p\u00fablico sobre los padres que participan en igualdad de condiciones en el trabajo de cuidado, en un esfuerzo por promover la reflexi\u00f3n sobre el valor de la igualdad de g\u00e9nero en las relaciones familiares.<\/p>\n

Si bien en Chile se comprende cada vez m\u00e1s la importancia de la paternidad activa, muchos padres chilenos a\u00fan creen que, ante todo, son los proveedores y que el cuidado de los hijos es responsabilidad primordial de las madres. Para desafiar estas normas inequitativas relacionadas con el cuidado, tambi\u00e9n se necesitan pol\u00edticas y programas de apoyo: licencias de paternidad y parentales remuneradas, programas de capacitaci\u00f3n para padres y trabajo con los sectores de la salud y la educaci\u00f3n para involucrar a los padres son algunas de las pol\u00edticas y servicios que pueden promover la responsabilidad compartida en el cuidado.<\/p>\n

Despu\u00e9s de la Pap\u00e1s chilenos<\/em> La exposici\u00f3n fotogr\u00e1fica llega a su fin en el Centro Cultural La Moneda, recorrer\u00e1 varias ciudades del pa\u00eds y con ella viajar\u00e1 el mensaje de que la paternidad involucrada y el cuidado de los hombres son claves para la igualdad de g\u00e9nero y el desarrollo infantil.<\/p>\n

Pap\u00e1s Chilenos es organizado por la Embajada de Suecia en Chile y por Fundaci\u00f3n CulturaSalud\/EME, socio de MenCare.
