\"AMenCare Guatemala realiz\u00f3 cuatro talleres en torno al tema de participaci\u00f3n masculina en el cuidado de ni\u00f1os. Dos de estos talleres se realizaron con padres de familia del destacamento militar del Ej\u00e9rcito Nacional en San Juli\u00e1n Chinautla, y el resto con padres de familia de la Polic\u00eda Nacional Civil.<\/p>\n

Estos talleres han despertado en los participantes un renovado deseo de cambiar sus actitudes y comportamientos, demostrando que, si bien el sexismo profundamente arraigado puede dar lugar a una falta de participaci\u00f3n masculina en el cuidado de los dem\u00e1s y en las responsabilidades dom\u00e9sticas, las actitudes y los comportamientos pueden cambiarse. Un participante inform\u00f3 que nunca antes hab\u00eda tenido la oportunidad de participar en un taller de este tipo, lo que respalda la idea de que el cambio puede producirse cuando se les da a las personas la oportunidad y el espacio para transformar las normas nocivas.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
