De parte de nuestros socios en m\u00e1s de 50 pa\u00edses del mundo, hoy y todos los d\u00edas celebramos el incre\u00edble papel que desempe\u00f1an las madres en la vida de sus hijos. Ya seas madre biol\u00f3gica o adoptiva, t\u00eda, abuela, maestra, entrenadora o un modelo a seguir para un ni\u00f1o en tu vida, gracias por todo lo que haces.<\/p>\n

En el D\u00eda de la Madre, y todos los d\u00edas, reconocemos todo lo que hacen las madres y queremos hacer nuestra parte para apoyar a las madres de todo el mundo. Sabemos que, si bien las mujeres representan aproximadamente la mitad de la fuerza laboral, siguen realizando m\u00e1s del triple (y a veces hasta diez veces) de trabajo dom\u00e9stico y de cuidado infantil no remunerado que los hombres (y m\u00e1s trabajo no remunerado y remunerado combinados).<\/p>\n

\u00bfC\u00f3mo podemos aliviar la carga de las madres, mejorar su salud y bienestar y trabajar para cerrar la brecha salarial de g\u00e9nero? Para ello, tenemos que tomar medidas. Hay muchos tipos de familias que celebrar (no todas incluyen una figura masculina o un padre), pero en todas las comunidades y a escala mundial, necesitamos que los hombres se sumen como aliados plenos en el apoyo a la igualdad de las mujeres y como socios en igualdad de condiciones para hacerse cargo del 50 por ciento de los cuidados, el lavado de platos, la planificaci\u00f3n y todo lo dem\u00e1s que se necesita para mantener una casa, una familia y una sociedad en funcionamiento.<\/p>\n
