MenCare provides call-to-action platforms to guide partners in taking on local, national, and international advocacy efforts.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/pt\/50-50-commitments\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">O <span class=\"il\">Cuidados com os homens<\/span> 50\/50 <span class=\"il\">Commitment<\/span><\/a><\/strong> is an initiative to accelerate men\u2019s uptake of 50 percent of the unpaid care work by 2030, starting with 50 minutes more care work per day.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"\/pt\/what-we-do\/advocacy\/ending-corporal-punishment\/\"><strong>Acabar com o Castigo Corporal<\/strong><\/a> is an advocacy initiative targeted at institutions and policymakers to enact policies that ban corporal punishment as a way to discipline children and adolescents, focusing instead on the use of positive, nonviolent child-rearing skills.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/pt\/what-we-do\/advocacy\/paid-parental-leave\/\">Plataforma de licen\u00e7a parental MenCare<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0presents\u00a010 ways to leave gender inequality behind and give our children the care they need by providing paid leave for parents.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/sowf.men-care.org\">State of the World\u2019s Fathers (SOWF)<\/a><\/strong> is the first report of its kind. It provides key global data on fatherhood and defines a global advocacy agenda for involving men and boys as part of the solution to achieve gender equality.<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/pt\/what-we-do\/advocacy\/howicare\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">The #HowICare Global Campaign<\/a><\/strong> is\u00a0a data-informed social media campaign aiming to shed a light on the realities, difficulties, and disparities of providing care \u2013 specifically in caring for children, in order to advocate for additional support for caregivers \u2013 including the parents and care workers who are most impacted \u2013 during the COVID-19 crisis and beyond.<\/li>\n<\/ul>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From promoting paid parental leave to raising awareness of the harmful effects of corporal punishment, our advocacy efforts aim to target and change policies of inequality.
