Em 10 de novembro de 2014, primeiro dia do Simp\u00f3sio Global MenEngage<\/a> em Nova Deli, \u00cdndia, a MenCare realizou um workshop de advocacia de um dia sobre a pr\u00f3xima campanha Situa\u00e7\u00e3o da Paternidade no Mundo<\/a><\/em> relat\u00f3rio. Mais de 60 pessoas compareceram ao workshop, discutindo maneiras de usar o relat\u00f3rio como uma ferramenta para pol\u00edticas, m\u00eddia e advocacia comunit\u00e1ria em torno da paternidade envolvida e do cuidado em todo o mundo.<\/p>\n

Quatro em cada cinco homens se tornar\u00e3o pais em algum momento de suas vidas, e virtualmente todos os homens t\u00eam alguma conex\u00e3o com crian\u00e7as e outros em relacionamentos de cuidado. No entanto, o envolvimento de homens em cuidados raramente tem sido parte dos esfor\u00e7os globais para promover a igualdade de g\u00eanero e prevenir a viol\u00eancia.<\/p>\n

A Campanha MenCare lan\u00e7ar\u00e1 o primeiro Situa\u00e7\u00e3o da Paternidade no Mundo<\/em> relat\u00f3rio em junho de 2015, destacando pesquisas, dados, pol\u00edticas e programas de todo o mundo relacionados \u00e0 participa\u00e7\u00e3o dos homens no cuidado e na paternidade. Ele define uma agenda global de advocacy para envolver homens e meninos no cuidado como parte da solu\u00e7\u00e3o para alcan\u00e7ar a igualdade de g\u00eanero e outros resultados positivos para mulheres, crian\u00e7as e os pr\u00f3prios homens.<\/p>\n

O workshop em Nova Deli incluiu uma introdu\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 Situa\u00e7\u00e3o da Paternidade no Mundo<\/em> relat\u00f3rio e suas metas, uma vis\u00e3o geral das estrat\u00e9gias de advocacy e m\u00eddia, e apresenta\u00e7\u00f5es sobre campanhas de advocacy relacionadas \u00e0 paternidade e ao cuidado. Usando dados globais sobre o envolvimento dos homens nos cuidados e na sa\u00fade materna e infantil, e sobre as conex\u00f5es entre paternidade e viol\u00eancia, o relat\u00f3rio visa fornecer a base para iniciativas sociais, pol\u00edticas e de sa\u00fade concentradas; ampla mudan\u00e7a institucional; e conscientiza\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica para promover uma transforma\u00e7\u00e3o em dire\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 paternidade equitativa e envolvida.<\/p>\n
