A World Vision Lanka, coordenadora do MenCare Sri Lanka, organizou um retiro MenCare para 20 fam\u00edlias em junho de 2015. Oitenta e seis participantes participaram do programa residencial de dois dias para fam\u00edlias do Programa de Desenvolvimento da \u00c1rea de Ambagamuwa.<\/p>\n

Como parte das atividades do retiro, os facilitadores do MenCare conduziram as duas sess\u00f5es finais do m\u00f3dulo do grupo de pais do MenCare, com foco em temas como envolvimento ativo na vida familiar, apoio ao empoderamento econ\u00f4mico das mulheres e redu\u00e7\u00e3o do abuso de \u00e1lcool. Os homens compartilharam suas hist\u00f3rias pessoais de mudan\u00e7a e seus planos para serem pais positivamente engajados no futuro. Ao mesmo tempo, os professores da pr\u00e9-escola organizaram jogos e atividades separados para os participantes mais jovens do retiro.<\/p>\n
