Em julho, MenCare Sri Lanka<\/a> treinou 30 l\u00edderes religiosos e comunit\u00e1rios sobre como promover a paternidade envolvida, n\u00e3o violenta e a parentalidade equitativa em termos de g\u00eanero em seu trabalho. Os participantes do programa \u201cTreinamento de Treinadores\u201d do MenCare inclu\u00edam pastores crist\u00e3os, professores religiosos hindus, antigos facilitadores do MenCare e volunt\u00e1rios comunit\u00e1rios do Ambagamuwa Area Development Program (ADP), juntamente com uma d\u00fazia de membros do Vaharai ADP.<\/p>\n

O programa \u201cTraining of Trainers\u201d teve como objetivo educar l\u00edderes religiosos e comunit\u00e1rios no setor de planta\u00e7\u00f5es do Sri Lanka sobre os benef\u00edcios que o envolvimento positivo dos pais em suas fam\u00edlias pode ter para mulheres, crian\u00e7as e os pr\u00f3prios homens. O programa buscou equipar os participantes com as habilidades e conhecimentos necess\u00e1rios para encorajar o envolvimento dos homens como cuidadores em suas pr\u00f3prias comunidades religiosas e locais.<\/p>\n

Os participantes do programa \u201cTraining of Trainers\u201d melhoraram suas habilidades de facilita\u00e7\u00e3o por meio de uma variedade de sess\u00f5es participativas durante o workshop de dois dias. L\u00edderes religiosos e comunit\u00e1rios trabalharam juntos em conceitos e t\u00e9cnicas relacionadas a brainstorming, comunica\u00e7\u00e3o em grupo, dramatiza\u00e7\u00e3o, reflex\u00e3o e an\u00e1lise cr\u00edticas, resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de problemas e tomada de decis\u00e3o.<\/p>\n
