Entre outras medidas relevantes para proteger os direitos das crian\u00e7as, esse marco legal agora prev\u00ea uma expans\u00e3o da licen\u00e7a-paternidade de 5 para 20 dias para funcion\u00e1rios de muitas empresas brasileiras, incluindo em casos de ado\u00e7\u00e3o. A Equimundo \u00e9 membro da Rede Nacional da Primeira Inf\u00e2ncia (\u201c<em><a href=\"http:\/\/primeirainfancia.org.br\/\" target=\"_blank\">Rede Nacional Primeira Inf\u00e2ncia<\/a><\/em>\u201d, em portugu\u00eas), que auxiliou na elabora\u00e7\u00e3o do texto do marco legal.<\/p>\n<p>Em 8 de mar\u00e7o, a presidente Rousseff sancionou o \u201cMarco Legal da Primeira Inf\u00e2ncia\u201d para prever o estabelecimento de uma pol\u00edtica nacional integrada para a primeira inf\u00e2ncia, que solicita ao governo federal, estados e munic\u00edpios uma abordagem intersetorial para os direitos das crian\u00e7as na primeira inf\u00e2ncia.<\/p>\n<p>Naquela \u00e9poca, o marco passou a valer para todas as empresas brasileiras que participam do Programa Empresa Cidad\u00e3 (\u201c<em>Programa Empresa Cidad\u00e3<\/em>,\u201d em portugu\u00eas). O Programa Empresa Cidad\u00e3, criado pelo governo em 2010, j\u00e1 permitia que funcion\u00e1rias de empresas participantes do setor privado tirassem at\u00e9 seis meses de licen\u00e7a-maternidade e, agora, prev\u00ea 20 dias de licen\u00e7a-paternidade.
