Acabar com o castigo f\u00edsico e a humilha\u00e7\u00e3o como formas de disciplinar crian\u00e7as e adolescentes est\u00e1 no cerne da agenda do Brasil N\u00e3o Bata, Eduque<\/a><\/em> Campanha (em ingl\u00eas, \u201cDon't Hit, Educate\u201d). Como membro da campanha, o co-coordenador da MenCare Equimundo<\/a> aplaude esta decis\u00e3o hist\u00f3rica para proteger as crian\u00e7as de todas as formas de viol\u00eancia sob a lei brasileira.<\/p>\n

\u201cSabemos que a viol\u00eancia contra crian\u00e7as pode levar a problemas sociais, emocionais, psicol\u00f3gicos e de sala de aula\u201d, disse Vanessa do Nascimento Fonseca, coordenadora do programa na Equimundo. \u201cUma educa\u00e7\u00e3o sem castigo f\u00edsico apoia a base de confian\u00e7a entre uma crian\u00e7a e um cuidador. A implementa\u00e7\u00e3o da lei evitar\u00e1 que crian\u00e7as sejam colocadas em situa\u00e7\u00f5es em que correm risco de abuso f\u00edsico. A puni\u00e7\u00e3o mais dura \u00e9 uma advert\u00eancia, ent\u00e3o esta lei serve como uma medida preventiva e garante os direitos de crian\u00e7as e adolescentes.\u201d<\/p>\n

Como parte do N\u00e3o Bata, Eduque<\/em> Campanha do ano passado, Equimundo<\/a> lan\u00e7ou o livro infantil Vento no Rosto<\/a><\/em> (em ingl\u00eas, \u201cWind on my Face\u201d), que promove a educa\u00e7\u00e3o sem viol\u00eancia da perspectiva das crian\u00e7as. Nesta primavera, Vento no Rosto<\/em> ganho<\/a> o 3\u00ba Pr\u00eamio Anual de Comunica\u00e7\u00f5es Avon para Mudan\u00e7a Comunit\u00e1ria, que reconhece organiza\u00e7\u00f5es cujas estrat\u00e9gias de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o inovadoras ajudam a transformar comunidades, institui\u00e7\u00f5es, pol\u00edticas e comportamentos para prevenir e acabar com a viol\u00eancia contra mulheres e crian\u00e7as.<\/p>\n

Acabar com o castigo corporal<\/a> \u00e9 uma das \u00e1reas de foco da pol\u00edtica da MenCare, e a campanha produziu v\u00e1rios materiais sobre direitos das crian\u00e7as e parentalidade positiva.
