Impede as mulheres de participarem igualmente no mercado de trabalho e <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ids.ac.uk\/publication\/balancing-paid-work-and-unpaid-care-work-to-achieve-women-s-economic-empowerment\" target=\"_blank\">afeta<\/a> o tipo, a localiza\u00e7\u00e3o e a natureza do trabalho remunerado que podem assumir.<\/p>\n<p>Com base nessa realidade, h\u00e1 um consenso internacional crescente de que n\u00e3o podemos alcan\u00e7ar o empoderamento econ\u00f4mico das mulheres sem tamb\u00e9m redistribuir o trabalho de cuidado. E, para redistribu\u00ed-lo, \u00e9 hora de um esfor\u00e7o global para fazer com que homens e meninos assumam uma parcela igual.<\/p>\n<p>Por que os homens e os rapazes deveriam importar-se? Al\u00e9m do facto de ser a coisa certa e justa a fazer, se as mulheres pudessem participar no mercado de trabalho \u00e0s mesmas taxas e pagar que os homens, os seus rendimentos aumentariam globalmente em <a href=\"https:\/\/www.actionaid.org.uk\/sites\/default\/files\/publications\/womens_rights_on-line_version_2.1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">at\u00e9 76%<\/a>, fechando uma tremenda lacuna de participa\u00e7\u00e3o e sal\u00e1rio de $17 trilh\u00f5es. Mas essa lacuna econ\u00f4mica n\u00e3o pode ser fechada se a lacuna de assist\u00eancia tamb\u00e9m n\u00e3o for.<\/p>\n<p>Estrat\u00e9gias que ajudam a reduzir a quantidade total de cuidados n\u00e3o remunerados e redistribuir responsabilidades para a sociedade em geral, como programas e pol\u00edticas que fornecem acesso a \u00e1gua e energia, educa\u00e7\u00e3o, assist\u00eancia m\u00e9dica e assist\u00eancia infantil, s\u00e3o cruciais. Aqui, focamos em redistribuir ativamente o trabalho de cuidados n\u00e3o remunerado entre homens e mulheres. Isso tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 necess\u00e1rio porque quando o g\u00eanero n\u00e3o \u00e9 especificamente abordado nessas pol\u00edticas, mulheres e meninas continuam a fazer uma parte maior do trabalho de cuidados que sobra.<\/p>\n<p>Mudar a forma como o atendimento \u00e9 realizado exige n\u00e3o apenas transformar atitudes e comportamentos individuais e comunit\u00e1rios, mas tamb\u00e9m expandir programas e pol\u00edticas local, nacional e internacionalmente para apoiar essa mudan\u00e7a.<\/p>\n<p>Aqui est\u00e3o cinco maneiras de come\u00e7ar:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. Mostre aos meninos e meninas que o cuidado \u00e9 responsabilidade de todos.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>As crian\u00e7as aprendem ideias sobre g\u00eanero e cuidado desde as primeiras idades. Quando os meninos veem seus pais envolvidos em cuidados ou quando s\u00e3o ensinados a cuidar de seus irm\u00e3os, eles s\u00e3o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.equimundo.org\/resources\/global-pathways-to-mens-caregiving-mixed-methods-findings-from-images-and-men-who-care\/\" target=\"_blank\">mais prov\u00e1vel<\/a> para continuar este padr\u00e3o de cuidado quando adultas. E, quando as meninas veem os seus pais a participar igualmente nas tarefas dom\u00e9sticas, elas <a href=\"http:\/\/pss.sagepub.com\/content\/25\/7\/1418\" target=\"_blank\">mais prov\u00e1vel<\/a> aspirar trabalhar fora de casa em ocupa\u00e7\u00f5es menos tradicionais.<\/p>\n<p>Em casa, \u00e9 importante que os pais modelem comportamentos de cuidado equitativos para seus filhos desde cedo. Em escolas e comunidades, programas como <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rootsofempathy.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Ra\u00edzes da Empatia<\/a> tamb\u00e9m pode mostrar \u00e0s crian\u00e7as que todos t\u00eam capacidade de cuidar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. Ensine os pais, especialmente os pais, a desafiar os estere\u00f3tipos de cuidadores e a realizar o cuidado pr\u00e1tico.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Para redistribuir o trabalho de cuidado n\u00e3o remunerado, os homens devem entender que \u00e9 sua responsabilidade \u2013 e devem se sentir capazes de faz\u00ea-lo. Institui\u00e7\u00f5es de sa\u00fade e provedores, no entanto, podem resistir \u00e0 ideia de envolver os pais na sa\u00fade materna, neonatal e infantil.<\/p>\n<p>Os governos devem aumentar o treinamento para aqueles no setor de sa\u00fade sobre a import\u00e2ncia de envolver os homens como parceiros e pais solid\u00e1rios e equitativos. Essas pol\u00edticas podem ajudar a quebrar o estere\u00f3tipo de que os homens s\u00e3o os ganha-p\u00e3o da fam\u00edlia e as mulheres s\u00e3o as cuidadoras, criando oportunidades para a participa\u00e7\u00e3o das mulheres na for\u00e7a de trabalho, avan\u00e7o na carreira e oportunidade econ\u00f4mica.<\/p>\n<p><strong>5. Implementar pol\u00edticas favor\u00e1veis \u00e0 fam\u00edlia para todos os funcion\u00e1rios.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Transformar o fardo do trabalho de assist\u00eancia n\u00e3o remunerado requer pol\u00edticas e pr\u00e1ticas, por parte de governos e empregadores, que apoiem uma redistribui\u00e7\u00e3o equitativa de assist\u00eancia. Junto com a licen\u00e7a parental, isso inclui arranjos de trabalho flex\u00edveis adicionais, licen\u00e7a m\u00e9dica adequada e agendamento antecipado para todos os funcion\u00e1rios, independentemente do g\u00eanero. Para funcionar, tais pol\u00edticas devem ser acompanhadas por uma cultura no local de trabalho que apoie, em vez de estigmatizar, os indiv\u00edduos quando eles tiram licen\u00e7a para responsabilidades de assist\u00eancia.<\/p>\n<p>Quando as mulheres s\u00e3o empoderadas economicamente, as sociedades se beneficiam.
