Embora isso v\u00e1 aumentar para cinco dias em 2019, o pa\u00eds ainda est\u00e1 muito atr\u00e1s da m\u00e9dia europeia de oito semanas de licen\u00e7a remunerada para novos pais.<\/p>\n<p>Oferecer diferentes quantidades de licen\u00e7a para novas m\u00e3es e pais perpetua a no\u00e7\u00e3o injusta de que as mulheres devem ser cuidadoras que ficam em casa e que os homens devem ser provedores que trabalham fora de casa. De fato, mais e mais pessoas na Holanda est\u00e3o achando esse sistema problem\u00e1tico:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>75% de jovens com menos de 35 anos na Holanda querem aumentar a licen\u00e7a-paternidade remunerada.<\/li>\n<li>60% dos pais holandeses dizem que gostariam de passar mais tempo com os filhos, mas n\u00e3o conseguem devido a restri\u00e7\u00f5es pr\u00e1ticas e financeiras.<\/li>\n<li>As mulheres holandesas gastam o dobro de tempo em trabalho de cuidado n\u00e3o remunerado que os homens, e esse n\u00famero n\u00e3o mudou nos \u00faltimos 15 anos.<\/li>\n<li>40% das mulheres na Holanda enfrentam discrimina\u00e7\u00e3o no mercado de trabalho quando gr\u00e1vidas.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Portanto, \u00e9 hora de adotar pol\u00edticas de licen\u00e7a igual para m\u00e3es e pais que sejam bem pagas, n\u00e3o transfer\u00edveis e de dura\u00e7\u00e3o adequada \u2013 o que trar\u00e1 benef\u00edcios para crian\u00e7as, mulheres, homens e para a sociedade como um todo.
