Nos dias 22 e 23 de setembro de 2017, a Universidade de Parma organizou um semin\u00e1rio em Parma, It\u00e1lia, sobre as realidades atuais da paternidade e do cuidado, juntamente com Parceiro MenCare<\/a> Il Giardino dei Padri (uma rede de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es italianas) e associa\u00e7\u00f5es locais de Parma, lideradas por Maurizio Artoni do Il Cerchio dei Pap\u00e0.<\/p>\n

Nas \u00faltimas d\u00e9cadas, as percep\u00e7\u00f5es sobre a paternidade e os pap\u00e9is dos pais come\u00e7aram a mudar. Mais lentamente do que em alguns outros pa\u00edses, os pais na It\u00e1lia est\u00e3o come\u00e7ando a se envolver mais na cria\u00e7\u00e3o dos filhos e no cuidado. Essa transforma\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 o resultado de mudan\u00e7as nas expectativas e oportunidades para mulheres e m\u00e3es, de maior investimento na constru\u00e7\u00e3o de espa\u00e7os para a intimidade e o cuidado dos homens e de um cen\u00e1rio mais variado de estruturas familiares e relacionais.<\/p>\n

Apesar dessas mudan\u00e7as, no entanto, o debate p\u00fablico n\u00e3o acompanhou as transforma\u00e7\u00f5es sociais relacionadas a novos modelos de paternidade, novos m\u00e9todos de cria\u00e7\u00e3o de filhos e relacionamentos mais equitativos.<\/p>\n

O semin\u00e1rio, portanto, teve como objetivo reunir um grupo influente de acad\u00eamicos engajados em pesquisas sobre essas quest\u00f5es, juntamente com os principais l\u00edderes de iniciativas, projetos e campanhas desenvolvidas por organiza\u00e7\u00f5es e institui\u00e7\u00f5es. O prop\u00f3sito n\u00e3o era apenas fornecer uma s\u00e9rie de instant\u00e2neos sobre as realidades do cuidado hoje, mas tamb\u00e9m olhar para a frente para caminhos adicionais de apoio encorajando novas e mais equitativas formas de paternidade.<\/p>\n

No primeiro dia do semin\u00e1rio, um grupo de acad\u00eamicos falou sobre o surgimento de novos modelos de paternidade engajada na It\u00e1lia. Eles discutiram mudan\u00e7as em dire\u00e7\u00e3o a pap\u00e9is de g\u00eanero mais equitativos dentro das fam\u00edlias, bem como estere\u00f3tipos duradouros e obst\u00e1culos pol\u00edticos \u00e0 igualdade (como uma pol\u00edtica de licen\u00e7a-paternidade de apenas dois dias). Uma sess\u00e3o de compartilhamento de experi\u00eancias para organiza\u00e7\u00f5es que trabalham para engajar pais se seguiu, que incluiu uma apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o do Reuni\u00e3o Global MenCare 2017<\/a> em Belgrado, S\u00e9rvia e da Plataforma Internacional para a Licen\u00e7a Parental Igual, Intransfer\u00edvel e Integralmente Remunerada (PLENTE<\/a>).<\/p>\n

No segundo dia do semin\u00e1rio, Il Giardino dei Padri facilitou uma sess\u00e3o de trabalho para planejar a\u00e7\u00f5es compartilhadas para promover o envolvimento equitativo dos homens no cuidado. Os participantes concordaram em realizar uma reuni\u00e3o anual sobre paternidade engajada, para entrar em contato com outras associa\u00e7\u00f5es e atores relevantes que trabalham nesses temas e para coletar e compartilhar as melhores pr\u00e1ticas. A principal decis\u00e3o tomada foi endossar o PLENT e organizar uma reuni\u00e3o geral sobre o assunto em Floren\u00e7a no in\u00edcio de 2018. Enquanto isso, um subgrupo de trabalho desenvolver\u00e1 op\u00e7\u00f5es de pol\u00edticas e propostas de estrat\u00e9gia de comunica\u00e7\u00e3o para introduzir a plataforma na It\u00e1lia.<\/p>\n
