O Centro Cultural La Moneda, em Santiago, Chile, apresenta o Pais Chilenos<\/em> (\u201cPapas Chilenos<\/em><\/a>,\u201d em espanhol) exposi\u00e7\u00e3o de fotos de 4 de outubro a 26 de novembro de 2017, destacando momentos \u00edntimos de pais chilenos cuidando de seus filhos. As 27 fotos que aparecem na exposi\u00e7\u00e3o foram selecionadas entre mais de 400 inscri\u00e7\u00f5es, enviadas por pais e familiares como parte do concurso de fotos #Pap\u00e1sChilenos.<\/p>\n

O Pais Chilenos<\/em> a exposi\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 modelada e apresentada juntamente com Pais suecos<\/em><\/a> \u2013 uma s\u00e9rie de fotos de Johan B\u00e4vman que documenta a vida de pais na Su\u00e9cia que escolheram usar a pol\u00edtica nacional de licen\u00e7a parental do pa\u00eds e ficar em casa com seus filhos por pelo menos seis meses.<\/p>\n

As fotos vencedoras apresentadas em Pais Chilenos<\/em> retratam cenas diversas de homens que est\u00e3o ativamente engajados no cuidado e educa\u00e7\u00e3o de seus filhos e que modelam formas afetuosas e envolvidas de paternidade. A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o chama a aten\u00e7\u00e3o do p\u00fablico para pais que participam igualmente do trabalho de cuidado, em um esfor\u00e7o para promover a reflex\u00e3o sobre o valor da igualdade de g\u00eanero nas rela\u00e7\u00f5es familiares.<\/p>\n

Embora a import\u00e2ncia da paternidade ativa esteja se tornando cada vez mais compreendida no Chile, muitos pais chilenos ainda acreditam que, antes de tudo, eles s\u00e3o provedores, e que o cuidado infantil \u00e9 a responsabilidade prim\u00e1ria das m\u00e3es. Para desafiar essas normas injustas relacionadas ao cuidado, pol\u00edticas e programas de apoio tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios: licen\u00e7a-paternidade e parental remunerada, programas de treinamento para pais e trabalho com os setores de sa\u00fade e educa\u00e7\u00e3o para envolver os pais s\u00e3o algumas das pol\u00edticas e servi\u00e7os que podem promover a responsabilidade compartilhada pelo cuidado.<\/p>\n

Depois do Pais Chilenos<\/em> A exposi\u00e7\u00e3o de fotos chega ao fim no Centro Cultural La Moneda e viajar\u00e1 para diversas cidades do pa\u00eds \u2013 e a mensagem de que a paternidade e o cuidado dos homens s\u00e3o essenciais para a igualdade de g\u00eanero e o desenvolvimento infantil viajar\u00e1 com ela.<\/p>\n
