Em 10 de outubro de 2017, os l\u00edderes do parlamento holand\u00eas apresentaram seu novo acordo de coaliz\u00e3o, intitulado Confian\u00e7a no Futuro<\/u><\/em><\/a>, que inclui disposi\u00e7\u00f5es para expandir a licen\u00e7a parental na Holanda.<\/p>\n

Sob o novo acordo, o governo holand\u00eas concordou em estender a licen\u00e7a para pais (e outros parceiros) de dois dias para cinco dias de licen\u00e7a totalmente paga, a ser tirada imediatamente ap\u00f3s o nascimento do filho. Esse aumento entrar\u00e1 em vigor em 1\u00ba de janeiro de 2019. E um pai ou parceiro ter\u00e1 direito a cinco semanas adicionais de licen\u00e7a parental n\u00e3o transfer\u00edvel, a ser tirada durante os primeiros seis meses ap\u00f3s o nascimento do filho e paga a 70% do seu sal\u00e1rio. Esse direito entrar\u00e1 em vigor em 1\u00ba de julho de 2020.<\/p>\n

Parceiro MenCare Universidade Rutgers<\/u><\/a>, com muitos outros grupos na Holanda, realizou anos de extensa pesquisar<\/u><\/a> e advocacia<\/u><\/a> para expandir a licen\u00e7a parental no pa\u00eds. Combinando for\u00e7as com organiza\u00e7\u00f5es de direitos da crian\u00e7a, grupos de pais e feministas, uma plataforma de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es e especialistas holandeses \u2013 chamada Vader Zoekt Verlof<\/u><\/a> (\u201cPais em Busca de Licen\u00e7a\u201d) \u2013 obteve amplo apoio pol\u00edtico para a expans\u00e3o da licen\u00e7a parental, resultando no compromisso do novo governo de aument\u00e1-la.<\/p>\n

Embora Vader Zoekt Verlof apoie aumentos ainda maiores de licen\u00e7as, ele aplaude essa mudan\u00e7a fundamental na forma como o governo holand\u00eas v\u00ea o papel dos pais no trabalho de cuidado. O reconhecimento do governo dos homens como cuidadores pode ajudar a encorajar uma mudan\u00e7a cultural em dire\u00e7\u00e3o a uma maior igualdade no local de trabalho, em casa e nos relacionamentos.<\/p>\n

No pr\u00f3ximo ano, Vader Zoekt Verlof monitorar\u00e1 de perto os desenvolvimentos pol\u00edticos nacionais para garantir que a legisla\u00e7\u00e3o seja o mais inclusiva poss\u00edvel para todos os pais e parceiros.
