Foto cortesia da PLENT.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>A Comiss\u00e3o Europeia est\u00e1 actualmente a considerar uma <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/social\/main.jsp?catId=1311&amp;langId=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Diretiva sobre equil\u00edbrio entre vida profissional e pessoal para pais e cuidadores<\/a>, com o objetivo de permitir que pais e outros cuidadores equilibrem melhor a vida profissional e familiar e de incentivar uma partilha mais equitativa dos cuidados entre mulheres e homens.<\/p>\n<p>A diretiva introduziria 10 dias \u00fateis de licen\u00e7a-paternidade e 5 dias de licen\u00e7a anual para cuidadores na Uni\u00e3o Europeia (UE), al\u00e9m de fortalecer as disposi\u00e7\u00f5es sobre licen\u00e7a parental e estender o direito de solicitar acordos de trabalho flex\u00edveis.<\/p>\n<p>Tim Shand, da Equimundo, coordenador global da MenCare, <a href=\"http:\/\/web.ep.streamovations.be\/index.php\/event\/stream\/180221-0900-committee-empl\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">apresentado<\/a> o MenCare <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mencare.org\/pt\/what-we-do\/advocacy\/paid-parental-leave\/\">Plataforma de Licen\u00e7a Parental<\/a> em uma audi\u00eancia p\u00fablica do Parlamento Europeu sobre a diretiva em fevereiro de 2018, compartilhando as principais recomenda\u00e7\u00f5es da plataforma em torno de solu\u00e7\u00f5es pol\u00edticas para reconhecer e redistribuir o trabalho de cuidado e transformar desigualdades profundamente enraizadas entre homens e mulheres.<\/p>\n<p>Tim reconheceu que a provis\u00e3o de pol\u00edticas de licen\u00e7a parental por si s\u00f3 n\u00e3o \u00e9 suficiente para atingir a igualdade no trabalho de assist\u00eancia n\u00e3o remunerado. Para aumentar a aceita\u00e7\u00e3o da licen\u00e7a dos homens e a participa\u00e7\u00e3o igualit\u00e1ria no trabalho de assist\u00eancia, as seguintes pol\u00edticas tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rias: (1) licen\u00e7a n\u00e3o transfer\u00edvel para todos os pais; (2) dura\u00e7\u00e3o suficiente da licen\u00e7a \u2013 um m\u00ednimo de quatro meses; e (3) pagamento adequado durante o tempo dos funcion\u00e1rios fora do trabalho \u2013 70% a 100% de seu sal\u00e1rio regular ou equivalente.<\/p>\n<p>Tim destacou que as pol\u00edticas de licen\u00e7a que oferecem licen\u00e7a remunerada e intransfer\u00edvel para homens e mulheres ajudam a promover a igualdade de g\u00eanero, a justi\u00e7a social e o bem-estar de mulheres, crian\u00e7as e homens.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cO cuidado dos homens \u00e9 importante para todos. Como pai de um filho de dois anos, sei o qu\u00e3o importante o envolvimento de um pai pode ser na vida dos filhos\u201d, disse Tim.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>A apresenta\u00e7\u00e3o de Tim ao Parlamento Europeu em fevereiro baseia-se no trabalho da Plataforma Internacional para a Licen\u00e7a Parental Igual, Intransfer\u00edvel e Remunerada 100% (<a href=\"http:\/\/equalandnontransferable.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">PLENTE<\/a>) em torno da Diretiva da UE sobre Equil\u00edbrio entre Vida Profissional e Pessoal para Pais e Cuidadores.<\/p>\n<p>Treze membros da PLENT, incluindo parceiros da MenCare, <a href=\"http:\/\/equalandnontransferable.org\/representatives-of-plent-participate-at-a-round-table-in-the-european-parliament\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">participou<\/a> em uma mesa redonda p\u00fablica no Parlamento Europeu em Bruxelas sobre a diretiva em novembro de 2017, defendendo uma licen\u00e7a parental igual, intransfer\u00edvel e totalmente remunerada.<\/p>\n<p>Organizado pelo secretariado do Parlamento Europeu do Podemos, um partido pol\u00edtico espanhol, e pelo Grupo Confederal da Esquerda Unit\u00e1ria Europeia\/Esquerda Verde N\u00f3rdica (grupo parlamentar GUE\/NGL), o evento foi convocado por membros da Comiss\u00e3o de Emprego e Assuntos Sociais (EMPL) e da Comiss\u00e3o de Direitos da Mulher e Igualdade de G\u00eanero (FEMM) do Parlamento Europeu.<\/p>\n<p>Aproximadamente 50 pessoas compareceram, incluindo membros do Parlamento Europeu (MEPs) e suas equipes de apoio, representantes de organiza\u00e7\u00f5es da sociedade civil e o p\u00fablico em geral.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201c[A licen\u00e7a parental] tem que ser para m\u00e3es e pais, para homens e mulheres, para mudar seu comportamento e alcan\u00e7ar a igualdade de g\u00eanero\u201d, disse Mar\u00eda Pazos Mor\u00e1n, da PLENT.<\/p><\/blockquote>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Comiss\u00e3o Europeia est\u00e1 atualmente considerando uma Diretiva sobre Equil\u00edbrio Trabalho-Vida para Pais e Cuidadores, com o objetivo de permitir que pais e outros cuidadores equilibrem melhor o trabalho e a vida familiar e de encorajar uma partilha mais equitativa dos cuidados entre mulheres e homens.
