Nossa suposi\u00e7\u00e3o metodol\u00f3gica: quando os valores mudam, isso \u00e9 acompanhado por processos de negocia\u00e7\u00e3o social que se tornam vis\u00edveis no discurso da m\u00eddia. Portanto, ao analisar sistematicamente o discurso da m\u00eddia popular, devemos ser capazes de identificar sinais de uma negocia\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica intensificada como uma express\u00e3o de mudan\u00e7as de normas e valores. Assumimos que as mudan\u00e7as nos valores sociais s\u00e3o refletidas no discurso da m\u00eddia e que essas mudan\u00e7as no discurso da m\u00eddia servem como evid\u00eancia qualitativa de que as normas sociais mudam. Com base nessa premissa metodol\u00f3gica, a MenCare Switzerland conduziu duas an\u00e1lises do discurso da m\u00eddia su\u00ed\u00e7a: uma para 2010 e outra para 2020. A principal quest\u00e3o de interesse: h\u00e1 uma mudan\u00e7a quantitativa e qualitativa em como o envolvimento masculino no cuidado est\u00e1 sendo discutido na m\u00eddia popular su\u00ed\u00e7a entre 2010 e 2020?&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Os resultados mostram que a m\u00eddia su\u00ed\u00e7a estava significativamente mais interessada no t\u00f3pico do engajamento masculino no cuidado em 2020. O escopo total de reportagens quase dobrou em compara\u00e7\u00e3o a 2010. O crescimento no volume de cobertura da m\u00eddia foi particularmente forte no campo da paternidade (por um fator de 2,5), enquanto estagnou no campo do autocuidado. No campo do discurso em torno do trabalho de cuidado, foi not\u00e1vel que o termo \u201ctrabalho de cuidado\u201d, um termo que quase nunca era usado no discurso da m\u00eddia dez anos atr\u00e1s, tenha se estabelecido e se tornado cada vez mais comum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>De um ponto de vista qualitativo, foi impressionante que o cuidado fosse cada vez mais discutido no contexto das desigualdades distributivas de g\u00eanero (a lacuna de cuidado de g\u00eanero) e da reconcilia\u00e7\u00e3o da vida profissional e privada. Em geral, o cuidado foi discutido significativamente mais frequentemente em conex\u00e3o com quest\u00f5es de g\u00eanero e igualdade em 2020 em compara\u00e7\u00e3o a 2010. O &#039;novo&#039; ideal de paternidade envolvida havia se popularizado, enquanto um debate independente, com foco expl\u00edcito na masculinidade e no cuidado, foi detectado apenas parcialmente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conclus\u00e3o: O t\u00f3pico do trabalho de cuidado tem experimentado um aumento significativo na aten\u00e7\u00e3o p\u00fablica na Su\u00ed\u00e7a nos \u00faltimos dez anos. Embora quase nenhuma m\u00eddia importante tenha usado o termo \u201ctrabalho de cuidado\u201d dez anos atr\u00e1s, ele \u00e9 onipresente hoje. A an\u00e1lise comparativa fornece evid\u00eancias de que as normas sociais em torno do cuidado dos homens est\u00e3o mudando. Essas mudan\u00e7as n\u00e3o acontecem como deslizamentos de terra e geralmente est\u00e3o vinculadas a quest\u00f5es de igualdade de g\u00eanero e distribui\u00e7\u00e3o da carga de trabalho.
