A tour of 16 MenCare countries in 16 days

From November 25 to December 10, thousands of organizations and individuals around the world united in support of 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, a global campaign to raise awareness and gain wider support to end gender-based violence. We participated by highlighting 16 of the MenCare countries that are working to prevent gender-based violence around the world.

“Not only women but also men should understand that violence is unacceptable in our lives.” This was the motto of the "Men’s Engagement in Prevention of Domestic Violence" workshop organized November 18-19th in Chisinau, Moldova. The meeting was arranged to establish an adult educational program on preventing family violence in Moldova. 

MenCare Bulgaria launches national campaign “Being a Father”

An alliance of 10 NGOs that have experience working with children, parents, and educational and social institutions recently announced the launch of a new campaign called "Being a Father" in Bulgaria. This initiative, which forms part of the global MenCare Campaign, focuses on the benefits of men’s active participation in childcare and family care.

Military fathers in Moldova are granted the right to parental leave
